Description:

An application that sends short messages to a mobile.

Content:

The application does not use a GSM modem but requires a fax modem which dials to the SMSc centers. The application should then send the messages to the mobile number specified in the Send TO field when the modem has succesifully dialed into the SMS Server.

I am new here but will be doing a similar project in my company, the idea is to extract email contains from an email like the person telephone number and to foward a notification SMS through a modem (GSM). Trying to do it in JAVA.
So can anyone tell me how this goes along ? For i am intrested

Another very good process to send to a mobile is using SNPP (Simple Network Message Protocol).

Connect to the IP Address and Port
Send 'PAGE {Phone Number}\r\n'
Recieve '250 Accepted'
Send 'data\r\n'
Recieve '250....'
Send '{message}\r\n'
Send '.\r\n'
Recieve '250....'
Send 'SEND\r\n'
Send 'QUIT'
