Palm goes Windows Mobile

Palm users say goodbye to Palm OS and welcome Windows Mobile.

The new Treo 700 uses Microsoft Windows Mobile 5.0 instead of Palm OS.
Palm teamed up with Microsoft Corporation for creating this version of Treo which uses Windows Mobile instead of Palm's own operating system, Palm OS.

"Microsoft understands the back end and Palm understands the front end, and the two of them if they can work together they can do some incredible things," Enderle said.
