MSN login problem solved |
On Saturday, March 20th 2004 at 10:56 AM By Andrew Pociu (View Profile) |
Microsoft confirmed Friday that it fixed a glitch that caused brief outages for some of its MSN services. A company spokeswoman said the problems were resolved Thursday afternoon PST and that no complications have been reported since. The problems began Thursday morning, when some users discovered that they were unable to log into popular services, such as Hotmail and MSN Messenger. The software giant denied that the glitch stemmed from its Passport authentication and password software, which lets people log in and manage Web services from MSN and other third-party sites.
