Description:
A notebook for the businessman who travels a lot and needs fast access to technology but also a good choice for a home notebook.

I was lucky to test this notebook for almost a month. Compaq Presario 2110US hides performance in a small notebook at a fair price.

The Compaq Presario 2110US is perfect for the busy type of man, who mostly works outside of the office and travels a lot, although it acts pretty good as a home notebook because of its multimedia capabilities - large hard disk, DVD-ROM drive...

The notebook works great in office applications, but acts a bit lousy in games. The ATI graphics card has 64 MB of memory shared, and that slows the notebook a bit in 3D applications.
Unfortunately I couldn't test the life of the battery because it didn't work... the notebook only started if connected to a power outlet.
The processor is an AMD Athlon XP 2000+ with PowerNow! that extends the battery life.

Some may consider that the lack of floppy on this notebook as a minus.
I disagree, I believe it's time to get rid of floppy drives, especially in notebooks and other compact computers.

The problem was later solved by replacing the faulty battery at the computer store.
The design of the notebook is eye-catching and keeps you staring at him for a while.

I give this notebook an 8 out of 10 rate.
